Up and Down!
30. January 2010
Its has been quite some time since I have written my last blog, but please
do not blame me because the pace of racing and trainings has been too serious
for me to be able to write exactly where we are and what is happening.
At this moment I am in St. Moritz, standing in front of a large, powerful door
that are raising feelings of curiosity, fear, but yet filling me with courage,
and dedication. This door is already known to me, but they were never colored
in such way.
Yes, I am afraid to step through them.
Season, which is taking place is full of climbs and falls. I haven`t yet been
able to win. I know, I have the capacity, but no. I did not realize my full
potential in the giant slalom.
I am not accustomed to the things, that are happening to me lately, so this
season is full of surprises.
Slalom! First on the Podium in the slalom. Now really I can realy say that I`m
a versatile skier! HOORAY!
In terms of results, it feels like I`m on some kind of a ‘rollercoaster ride’,
just like the ones they have in amusement parks, so the route is always taking
me and my uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup and dooooooooooooooown.
…. And I don`t need to explain which way it goes faster. Indeed, the curves
are more interesting, then just a straight line . Well I must say that I kind
of expected such unfolding of events, but it still takes a lot more effort to
keep the curves going up, then keeping them straight.
But, regardless of my curent capacity, I found myself before this door …
The door of the Olympics! … Is the road behind them winding,… is it going
down… or is it going up for me? … Well, I don`t know, but I keep my eyes
open! I am expecting everything! … Let the doors open!
Let the Olympic flame propell my blood!
Good luck and keep up with me!
Tina

You can and will do it
Have fun in Vancouver Tina, I and a lot of others know you can do it.
Leave it up to the fans to be stressed, so you can start relaxed.

Hi Tina,
what to say … you are really amazing !
The way you ski and the way you write, both wonderful : both can let us see your strenght and personality but even a sense of wonder and adventure. It feels like you are not so unconfortable on that “rollercoaster”, being well conscious of how it works.
I can be wrong, but during some races I felt like you were to prove yourself how good you are. I think this is a harder but more powerful way to reach the top. So far, your smile seems to show that you can well stand the pressure. The whole life is a rollercoaster and one learns to be ready when to react. I really think you are a great skier and a great person. So keep on this way and bring your attitude, your glance and feelings with you overseas. YOU can make the difference, but even fortune sometimes turns suddenly …. like curves in Maribor slalom !
Good Luck Tina !
